JACKSONVILLE, Fla.– The Jacksonville Suns (9-16, 33-45) and Birmingham Barons (17-7, 50-43) contest scheduled for tonight has been postponed due to rain.
Saturday will feature a pair of seven-inning games with first pitch for game one set 5:05 p.m. ET. The second game will begin roughly 30 minutes after completion of the first contest.
The Suns and Barons will continue their series Friday night with a first pitch from Bragan Field set for 7:05 p.m. ET. The Suns will send out right-hander Josh Hodges (1-0, 2.25 ERA) while the Barons will counter with righty Robinson Leyer (1-0, 0.00 ERA).
Friday is St. Patrick’s Day in July with Green Bragan Field Cap Giveaway, Leprechaun World Wrestling Championship, Blood Alliance Blood Drive, & NAPA Friday Family Fireworks!
