JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Miami Marlins announced a pair of transactions that impact their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns roster prior to tonight’s game against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos at Bragan Field at 7:05 p.m.

Right-handed relief pitcher Craig Stem has been transferred from the Suns to Triple-A New Orleans. Stem this season for the Suns was 2-4 with a 2.93 ERA in 23 appearances and one start. This is the first call-up to Triple-A in Stem’s career.

In a corresponding move, right-handed relief pitcher C.J. Robinson has been transferred from High-A Jupiter to Jacksonville. Robinson had pitched in 27 games in relief for the Hammerheads, with no wins or losses and a 3.15 ERA. In 40 innings on the mound, Robinson struck out 29 batters compared to 15 walks.

A native of Apopka, Robinson pitched collegiately at St. John’s River Community College in Palatka, and was selected by the Marlins in the 12th round of the 2013 draft.

The Suns roster now stands at 25 active players, and a revised roster is attached.

The Suns and Wahoos will continue their series Monday night with a first pitch set for 7:05 p.m. ET. The Suns will start right-hander Ivan Pineyro while the Wahoos will send right-hander Sal Romano (0-0, 0.00 ERA) to the hill.
